Jagriti is an Indian Animation Director and Illustrator living in sunny Los Angeles. Growing up in India she and her siblings spent their childhood roaming around their village chasing peacocks, helping their grandmother at the farm, and sleeping under the stars. Soon after, she moved to New Delhi and before she knew it she found herself on a flight to America in pursuit of a career in the arts.

Having inhabited such different worlds has left her with a deeper understanding of nuances between different ways of life. She is passionate about using her art to document various cultural practices, customs and traditions.

Outside of illustration and animation, Jagriti loves experimenting in the kitchen, growing plants in her garden, and wrestling with clay at her potter’s wheel. Her partner jokingly calls her “Jags of all trades.”
